P-Spot is a community-driven parking marketplace that helps people find parking more easily while allowing homeowners, businesses, churches, commercial property owners, and organizations to earn income from underused parking spaces.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have when using the P-Spot website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

When you create an account, list a parking space, make a reservation, or contact support, we may collect:

1.2 Payment Information
Payments and payouts on P-Spot are processed through trusted third-party payment providers such as Stripe.
P-Spot does not store full credit card or banking information on its own servers.
Payment providers may independently collect and process financial information in accordance with their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

When you use P-Spot, we may automatically collect:

- Mobile device identifiers

1.4 Location Information

- Support geofenced parking features

- Improve marketplace operations and analytics
- You may disable location sharing through your device settings, although some Platform features may not function properly.
1.5 License Plate Recognition & Parking Verification
P-Spot may use vehicle and license plate information to:
- Verify reservations
- Confirm parking access
- Support parking enforcement
- Prevent unauthorized parking
- Investigate disputes or claims
- Improve operational efficiency and safety
In some locations, P-Spot may work with commercial property owners, parking operators, or technology partners that use cameras, access control systems, or automatic license plate recognition (“ALPR” or “LPR”) technologies.
Where such systems are used, P-Spot aims to collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate the parking service.

P-Spot may review, scan, or analyze communications sent through the Platform to:

- Improve Platform functionality
- Where reasonably possible, automated systems are used.
- P-Spot does not sell private messages or communication content to third parties.
4. Information Shared With Other Users
To facilitate bookings, certain information is shared between drivers and parking hosts.
Hosts May Receive:
Driver first name
Reservation details
Vehicle and license plate information
Arrival and departure timing
Contact information where necessary to complete the booking
Drivers May Receive:
Host first name or business name
Parking location
Listing details and photos
Access instructions
Reviews, ratings, and parking rules
P-Spot does not publicly display sensitive personal information unless required for operational, legal, or safety purposes.
5. Hosts, Businesses & Property Partners
P-Spot works with homeowners, businesses, churches, commercial properties, and parking operators.
Hosts and property partners may only use personal information for purposes directly related to managing parking reservations, access, support, security, enforcement, or legal compliance.
Unauthorized use of user information is prohibited.
6. Sharing of Information
P-Spot may share personal information with:
- Drivers and parking hosts
- Payment processors
- Identity verification providers
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
- Analytics and customer support providers
- Insurance, claims, or dispute-resolution providers
- Parking enforcement or property management partners
- Government authorities, regulators, courts, or law enforcement where legally required
- Professional advisors, auditors, or insurers
- Potential investors, purchasers, lenders, or successors in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets
- Service providers are contractually required to safeguard personal information and may only access information necessary to perform their services.
7. Rewards, Referrals & Points Programs
P-Spot may offer referral programs, loyalty points, discounts, vouchers, fundraising partnerships, or promotional rewards.
To operate these programs, P-Spot may use information such as:

- Where rewards involve third-party partners, limited information may be shared as necessary to administer or verify the reward.

P-Spot may send:

- You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
- Operational, legal, payment, booking, or safety-related communications may still be sent.

P-Spot is intended for individuals who are at least nineteen (19) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 19.

Your information may be processed or stored in jurisdictions outside your province, territory, or country, including by service providers operating internationally.
Where required, P-Spot takes reasonable measures to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
